Giant Bandar Puteri Puchong

Giant Bandar Puteri Puchong
Date : 28 March 2009
Time : 5.30 pm - 8.00 pm
After we left 101 Mall, Darren kept complaining hungry and wanted to eat pizza at Giant. Both he and Ko Ko really enjoyed the mushroom soup there.
Well, that boy was a difficult one. He couldn't get his wishes, we wouldn't be able to have our peace of mind. So noisy...crying and crying...throwing tantrums!!!
Hmmm...at the same time, Ko Ko didn't want to eat pizza. Normally he'd take spaghetti there, not that day though. We just had our home made spaghetti this morning.
In the end, I just packed some chicken rice for Ko Ko and took them all to Pizza Hut at Giant.
That solved my dilemma, huh...
After food, they could play play for a while. Pizza Hut was just next to the playground.
Then we proceeded to Giant to shop...well, more of to do window shopping of the toys!!!
The playground at Giant, Level 1.
Mei Mei was pulling her shoes off ..

Darren couldn't resist playgrounds..started climbing, pulling,..etc

Jaya Jusco, 101 Mall, Puchong

Jaya Jusco, 101 Mall, Puchong
Date : 28 March 2009
Time : 3.00 pm - 5.30 pm
Daddy had gone to Kuching for Ching Ming this weekend. By noon on that Saturday, Bryan had been complaining saying that Mummy no fun. Didn't take him out, and kept pestering wanted to go to the shopping centre.
He can be quite a nag. Really non-stopped. Kept complaining that Daddy is better. Can go to more places.
Unable to stand his non-stop pestering, I took them to 101 Mall. Brought Bryan to have a look at the new wing of the 101 Mall which was not fully occupied yet. Then proceed to Popular Book Store, asked Bryan to pick some books for practice. He managed to pick 4 books.
That was good!! Now every night he wanted to do exercises from the books he bought!! Of course, mummy gotta be the tutor laaa...

At Popular, the boys meet their friend, Yang Yang (5 years old), who also stayed at our housing area. His mummy was also picking some books for him.
Went to the Jaya Jusco after that. As usual the playground was their destination. And as usual their will be pestering me to purchase tokens!!! Sigh......

Hello, I am on a ship!!! On board....tooooot tot tot tot, tooot tot tot tot
Darren's favourite ship at 101 Mall.

I also want to be the skipper!!!

Wo wo...I want to climb to the front of the ship!!!

Cheese.....

Park at Pusat Bandar Puchong

Park at Pusat Bandar Puchong
Date : 22 March 2009
Time : 6.15 pm - 7.30 pm

This is a very big park, with walkways for jogging, field and a lake.

The playground at Pusat Bandar Puchong.
The kids love this because of the two long slides.

Mei Mei was climbing up for the giant slides...

Oh oooo...Mei Mei's stopped climbing for some time. She just stood there.

She just woke up from her slumber. So we believed she just did not have enough energy to climb upward.

Mei Mei was still standing on the same spot.
Kakak went to the rescue, to assist Mei Mei to climb up.

Other children were queueing up, waiting patiently for Mei Mei to move up. Luckily they were not a rough bunch. Some boys were quite rough, they would push if someone was blocking them.

"This looked interesting. I wanted to climb too!!!"

Darren liked to sit on top of the slide. Cheese !!

Ko Ko wanted to climb down from the slide. Careful, careful.

"I can swing on my own now!!! Yahoo!!! "
Last swing before going home.

It's getting dark.

National Muzium

The National Muzium
Date : 22 March 2009
Time : 4.00 pm
After visiting the Planetarium. We took a break for the kids to have ice cream.
Since that it was still early, we continued to the Muzium Negara after that. After all, the Muzium was just a walking distance away from the Planetarium.
The interior of the Muzium was so different from the last time we came, which was more than 5 years ago. The entrance for the Muzium was RM2 per adult only.
The first thing Darren wanted to do was to climb to the train. His favourite vehicle. He loves to watch Thomas and Friend - the train cartoon.
Daddy as usual was very worried that he may fall. Darren was really the very "tahan lasak" one, yet clumsy. Non stopped climbing every where. A bit of a hazard to himself.
At home also the same!!! Climbing the grill, the gate, the fence, the side of the staircase , the kitchen desktop, ....whatever he can climb...
Now Mei Mei is following his footstep!!! She simply loves to disturb (kacau) her second brother. He easily cries whenever someone disturb or take his things. So Mei Mei enjoys doing exactly that. She'll run very fast so that he can't catch her.
See how the naughty boy was posing. So cool, not scared one.
Darren was so excited with so many trains at one place...three to be exact.

Tried to come out with a new pose.

The curious one couldn't resist poking into the hole.
Mei Mei couldn't resist climbing up there as well on seeing her Ko Ko doing so.

Didn't look attractive at all. Kids were more attracted to newer and more colourful ones.

Well, the strict Daddy wouldn't let them cross the road anyway.
Daddy would pull a looong face, looking stressed whenever the kids doesn't listen to him.
Ha ha ha...not that the kids noticed or bothered with it.

The front entrance of the muzium.
Well didn't take any photos inside the muzium. The daddy said no need, so dark, not nice. Hmmm..now think of it, should at least take some huh...for memory maa, after all, the layout of the Muzium changed after some time.

Left the Muzium at 4.45 pm. The kids were hungry. Darren kept asking for more food despite having had his pau and ice-cream.

We headed for Restaurance Leong Ah at Puchong for our dinner....arrived at Restaurant at about 5.15 pm.

After finishing dinner at about 6.15 pm, we left for children park.
The kids wanted to go to the park at Pusat Bandar Puchong.

National Planetarium

The National Planetarium

Date : 22 March 2009 (Sunday)

Time : 1.00 pm

"Situated at the hill of Kuala Lumpur Lake Garden, surrounding by National Mosque, National Museum and Bird Park, National Planetarium is the place where the journey to space begin. Combination of the Islamic architecture and astronomy, makes the National Planetarium resembles a mosque, but combined with a futuristic look" quoted from the Planetarium Website.

We had not been here for a long time. This was the first time we brought all our kids here. They seemed to enjoy it although I did not think they understand.

Nowadays, they were too restless to stay at home.

The gallery was so small compared to what it used to be.

Checked the guards there, they told us it was under renovation.

What a timing!!!

We finally made it to the top...O dear, wrong turn, another flight of staircase to go!!!

In the theater, waiting for the 3 pm show.

For a 45 min documentary show, it didn't come cheap.
RM6 for the adult, while the kids RM4.

Would have chosen the laser show, but it was not on. All other shows were not available. Sigh......

The two boys loved this!!! Climbed onto the seats and non stopped pushing the switches up and down.

Mei Mei was very excited. She was running every where in the Centre.

Ko Ko was wandering about the Centre, looking for more interesting things

Look at this!!! How ladylike was our Mei Mei!!!

This was Mei Mei's favourite destination. She kept coming back here.

Mei Mei was so curious with the space craft's toilet that she was not going to leave without having a feel of it !!!

"Hi..we are now at the moon !!! "

What a long flight of staircase.
Leaving the Planetarium for the Muzium.

"Yea yea....I got my ice cream!!!"

Being in Standard one, Ko Ko likes to explore new things.

This visit was something different for him...esp he gotta enjoyed the space craft so much!!!

" Hmmm...this is a nice spot for ice-cream. Yummy yummy..."

Sitting alone enjoying her "krim" as she always like to say

My Little Princess..

Visiting - New Born Baby

Visiting - New Born Baby

Date : 22 March 2009

Time: 8.30 am - 10.00 am

I finally had the time to visit my friend who had given birth 2 weeks ago. She stayed not far from my house. The baby boy weighted 2.65kg upon birth. This is her second child. Her eldest son is similar age with Darren -- 5 years old. The baby really does look like his brother!
Ha ha...like my mother always use to say "From the same 'acuan' maa".

My Mei Mei as usual couldn't stand being left at home wanted to follow me. The two boys also didn't want to leave behind. We walked to her house since the weather was so nice for walking that day.

The naughty girl was posing for the camera as we walked. She didn't want to wait for me.

Ko ko also followed us, but he cycled.

Pouting!!!

That happens whenever she couldn't get her way...

Mei Mei and the little baby. O dear, I forgotten to ask his name.

The baby was fast asleep. Hmm..all babies really do look the same.

The Baba House, Melaka

The Baba House, Melaka
Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock
06.12.2008 – 07.12.2008 ( Sat – Sun)

Ching Ching and family came to visit and stayed with us from 04.12.08 (Thurs)– 09.12.08 (Fri).

On Saturday, 06.12.08, they planned to visit Malacca.

As 08.12.2008 was a Public Holiday (Hari Raya Haji), most of the hotels were full. It was considered super peak season. Yee Hui recommended us to this hotel/guest house. The location was really very strategic as it was within walking distance to the Jonker Street.

It was the next morning. The rest had not waken up.

Jeffrey drove my Kelisa. Ching Ching, Yee Hui, Yen Yen and Di Di were in the same car. While Daddy drove another car with me and my two boys. Poor Mei Mei was left behind at home as she was not feeling well at that time.

It was not such a good idea to bring her along.

In the end, it was proven to be good decision that we did not bring her as it was drizzling at Malacca. We could clearly see that it rained very heavily before we arrived.

At the Lobby, ready to go for dinner.

We arrived to Malacca quite late as we only departed after 2.00 pm that day. We waited for Yee Hui who was not free on that morning. Luckily there were still available rooms when we arrived as we did not do any prior booking.

This was the reception area and the lobby.

We checked with Hotel Puri as well. However, they had only one room available which was not enough for so many of us.

So we decided to rent three rooms at the Baba House for RM149.00 each. My family took one while Jeffrey and family took two. Ching Ching slept with Yee Hui, while Jeffrey slept with the two kids.

The Baba House would not bad, it looked clean I wouldn’t mind coming back again.

Anyway, for such convenience being that the location is so near Jonker Street, what more can we ask. With kids around, it would be better that we stayed within walking distance to the places of interest.

This building was just opposite The Baba House.

The kids were all ready for the day outing.

Further information of The Baba House can be found at the following address:

Port Dickson Beach - Next to the Avillion, Port Dickson

Public Beach at Port Dickson –
Just next to Avillion Beach Resorts

“It is situated at the 3rd mile of the 18-kilometer stretch of pure white sandy beaches in Port Dickson “..quoted the Avillion Beach Resorts website.

I really have no idea what the beach is called.

We went there after lunch. The sun was so fierce. However, the beach was windy, we couldn't feel much of the heat unless you are directly under the sun. We looked for a tree to put our mat and food, not that we could eat after just having lunch.
The last time we came, Daddy and Darren got sunburn.
Tiara Beach Resort does not have a beach. So we came here to have a feel of the real beach. The feeling was nice, but after Tiara Beach Resort, here seemed so boring. Not much of activities. No slides, no swimming pools... Even the Ko Ko also looked a bit disappointed.

Actually brought the kids here to fly kites.
Ko Ko and Darren got themselves a kite each the last time we visited here.
Darren was enjoying himself playing his kite. He did not allow Mei Mei to take his.

Mei Mei got to play Ko Ko's kite after some tantrums. She didn't want to be left out as usual. Ko Ko gotta gave way.

Daddy was helping Mei Mei with the kite.
I was comfortably sitting on the mat. This is the first time we used the mat, given by the kids' Akong 8 years back....the first time I visited Kuching.

The pampered girl was enjoying herself in Daddy's arm.
See her 'manja' face!!!
She became more and more attached to Daddy since returning from Kuching after the Chinese New Year. Daddy had no choice but to look after her more during the CNY in Kuching since there was no maid to help out.

Darren was pulling in his kite. Still did not allow other people to play his kite.

The restless one had nothing to do. Here seemed so uninteresting after Tiara Beach Resort. He was so excited playing at Tiara Beach Resort just this morning.

Mei Mei was busying with the sand, with Kakak accompanying her.

Bored with the kites. Attacked the sand!!

Aghhh...my stomach was so full after the ice-cream.

As usual, kids enjoyed ice-cream. Gotten them ice-cream, even Mei Mei did not want to be left out as well. Her appetite is really like Darren.

This seat was different!!

Running away. She didn't want to go back yet. Hmmm..gotta catch her.
This girl can run real fast, like her Ko Ko, who is always crazy about who is running faster. Ko Ko likes to compete with his friends to see who is the fastest runner. Of course, you can clearly from his body size that Darren can't compete at all...not that he's interested!!

Quickly booked the front seat before Mummy did and smiled innocently at Mummy!!

Leaving for home at 3.30 pm.
We were at the beach for a while only, about 1.5 hour, since the kids did not really have the mood for calmer activities.
