Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock
06.12.2008 – 07.12.2008 ( Sat – Sun)
Ching Ching and family came to visit and stayed with us from 04.12.08 (Thurs)– 09.12.08 (Fri).
On Saturday, 06.12.08, they planned to visit Malacca.
As 08.12.2008 was a Public Holiday (Hari Raya Haji), most of the hotels were full. It was considered super peak season. Yee Hui recommended us to this hotel/guest house. The location was really very strategic as it was within walking distance to the Jonker Street.
It was the next morning. The rest had not waken up.
Jeffrey drove my Kelisa. Ching Ching, Yee Hui, Yen Yen and Di Di were in the same car. While Daddy drove another car with me and my two boys. Poor Mei Mei was left behind at home as she was not feeling well at that time.
It was not such a good idea to bring her along.
In the end, it was proven to be good decision that we did not bring her as it was drizzling at Malacca. We could clearly see that it rained very heavily before we arrived.
At the Lobby, ready to go for dinner.
We arrived to Malacca quite late as we only departed after 2.00 pm that day. We waited for Yee Hui who was not free on that morning. Luckily there were still available rooms when we arrived as we did not do any prior booking.
This was the reception area and the lobby.
We checked with Hotel Puri as well. However, they had only one room available which was not enough for so many of us.
So we decided to rent three rooms at the Baba House for RM149.00 each. My family took one while Jeffrey and family took two. Ching Ching slept with Yee Hui, while Jeffrey slept with the two kids.
The Baba House would not bad, it looked clean I wouldn’t mind coming back again.
Anyway, for such convenience being that the location is so near Jonker Street, what more can we ask. With kids around, it would be better that we stayed within walking distance to the places of interest.
This building was just opposite The Baba House.
The kids were all ready for the day outing.
