Darren's Concert

24 October 2009 (Saturday)

Today was Darren's concert.

I was so suprised upon entering the concert hall to see an old university friend of mine standing in the middle of the walkway. It was more than 10 years I had not seen him and I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought I was dreaming or did I step into the wrong place??? It was such a suprise to see an ex uni mate at my son's kindy...after all, the kindy that Darren's gone to was considered quite ulu laaa...I could see that he had forgotten my name. His daughter was studying at Darren's kindy. Wah, she really did look like the daddy...I still remembered her daddy dressed in female dressing with lipstick in an act during EDMAT camp. We were in a team. So we worked closedly together at that time for 1 week..O dear, she's the THAT version of her daddy!!

As for the concert, I must say not very well organised. We were there from 4.00 pm to 8.15 pm. That was very long time especially for the poor kids. I can imagine my Darren hungry and thirsty.

The concert only started at 6 pm. Coming 2 hours earlier than the exact performance time was a really time wasting. Normally kids had their dinner at about 6.30 pm. I must say the timing was really poor. Should have organised one in the morning, at least not so bad for the kids.

Dressed up, Darren was more than willing to pose every time he saw me...ha ha ha

Look at his face when Ko Ko kacau him

Teacher Azima leading the kids to sing and dance at the opening ceremony of the concert.

Darren's face was like this for every photo I took of him, with his standard artificial smile!!
With his artificial smile again...the smile that didn't reach his eyes!!
or should we say a movement of the lips...???
I asked Darren to post a little bit for me
He's so rigid...ha ha ha..like his Daddy???

We didn't buy the photos taken by the studio.
The studio posted these on the board for interested parents to purchase.
You see, Darren was having his static smile again here...
You can only this smile on today event...His proper smile, I believe...ha ha ha

Taman Bukit Jalil - Feeding Fish

17 October 2009 (Saturday)
Happy Deepavalli

After the 1st trip two weeks ago, the boys kept pestering wanted to go to Bukit Jalil park to feed the fish. Since that we were heading to my hometown this weekend, we might as well dropped by at the park since it was just on our way.

The kids were so excited that they had bread to feed the fish.

Watching the fish.
Of all the spots, he chose the one next to the dustbin...
Throwing from so far...
Today Mei Mei also didn't feel like to take photo...
Her character is quite similar to Darren, the moody one...

Heading towards our car...

Darren was in one of his mood swing again. He refused to look at the camera.... sigh..
The sun was so glaring that day!!!
The kids couldn't wait to look for a shady spot..
I practically gotta force Darren's head up for the camera...
Ha ha ha...look at his face!!! He looked so funny!!!
Kakak our camera lady couldn't stop laughing seeing Darren's reactions.

Darren's managed to get away from my grasp...

With Darren in his sulking mood, these two were busy posing for the camera...

Posing so nicely for me...Cheese....

Mei Mei enjoyed covering her face with the cap...

These two were so playful.

Ko Ko with his style!!
It was a short visit. After all, we heading to our hometown and Mum were cooking lunch for us.

Tour Around Malacca Town

09 October 2009 (Friday)

Hotel Puri, Melaka

09 October 2009 (Friday)

Hub together with his family left for Malacca on Friday. His father, sister and brother in law had never been to Malacca before. They stayed a night at Hotel Puri....reason is that the hotel is within walking distance from Jonker Street. Hub said the hotel is nice and clean. Better than the Baba House. However, YH said otherwise.

Balloons

09 October 2009 (Friday)

The last day of Learning Resource Fair!!! What a relieve!!! So tired!!!..I took some of the balloons for my kids. He he he...as expected they love them. And as expected, Darren the destroyer tried to poke the balloons....
I took all these balloons at one go. My colleague laughed when she saw me. She said I looked so funny. Well....I can imagine how I look....Never mind, for children sake...a bit of clowny look doesn't matter...

See how the clowns loved the balloons....

When Darren is willing to let his photographs taken that means he's in a better mood.
He kept saying "Mummy, why are you taking so many photos".
Sometimes he complained of having to post for the photos for so long....
