Teluk Cempedak, Kuantan, Pahang

23 - 24 September 2009 (Wed - Thursday)

After checking out from the Legend Resort Cherating, we went to Kuantan to stay for another night. It was a last minute decision, decided only on the night before. I met a friend at the Legend saying that Greenlast Hotel room was very big. So we decided to gave the hotel a try. Yes, indeed the room was very big...it was a suite. For RM155, we had 2 queen sized bed and a single bed. That's BIG...there was a living room with a wine bar, a partioned bedroom, a master bedroom and a toilet..Of course this hotel can't compare with the Legend.

We went to visit our Auntie. Viewed her newly bought house for her son, which was located just at the opposite of her house. We were there only for 2-3 hours. After that we gone back to hotel and had a shower before we proceeded to MiMi's house. She invited us to her house for Raya at 7 pm. When we arrived she was not ready yet, the kids were so hungry that they ate the mashed potato first.

Everything was all ready by 8 pm. She cooked for us mee soup...yummy yummy so nice..I had so much of them...very nice.

Hei ya, forgotten to take any photos for both places as a remembrance.

Darren was complaining!!! Look at his face..so action!!
Complaining of the long walk that he had to take...

Wah, got style wooo...

Resting after bathing the 2 rascals...

The Legend Resort Cherating, Kuantan - A beautiful beach resort

22 - 23 September 2009
(Tues & Wed)
3rd & 4th day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri

With my maid gone back to Indonesia for Hari Raya, we planned to go to Cherating, a much talked about but always 'tak jadi' plan. I took 2 weeks leave to replace my absence maid. After all, all in all I only need to take 9 working days.

It would be a waste if we didn't go for holidays, after all Ko Ko didn't have school too. So this time we made our plan worked, including CJ since most of her students were also gone for Raya break. Just the perfect timing. CJ could be the back up maid too, ha ha ha!!!

I booked this resort via the internet. Among so many, I could see this hotel had the best reviews with the rates that I was looking for. I believed I had booked the right one...The downside was the check in was very slow...I was only able to get my keys at about 3.40 pm...so late!!!! And the floor was so wet!!!! Otherwise, everything good ...room was very clean...

The kids enjoyed the pool so much...They were so big and not too deep and not too shallow...Just right for the 2 Ko Kos..When the kids enjoyed them, I also enjoyed them.

When Ko Ko's happy, he would be so playful...

The next morning, we went for a morning walk by the beach after breakfast in the hotel. We made our own breakfast of boiled eggs and maggy mees...
The room didn't come with breakfast. We deliberately didn't want to take the breakfast package as the kids wouldn't be interested to eat early in the morning. They would be more interested in the swimming pool than anything else.

Getting the kids to walk around the beach was not easy too since they were more keen on the swimming pool.

There were so many baby crabs on the seashore....We caught a few to play and then let them go.
We arrived at Holiday Inn Resort
We wanted to have a look around whether we should book here in future

Holiday Inn Resorts' Swimming Pool.....
Hmmm...not very happening isn't it? Luckily we did not book this resort..the kids would be so disappointed with such a small baby pool and a squarish adult pool...
This resort was just next to the Legend.. we just walked following the beach as they shared the same beach.

Getting ready to check out

Taking a photo here with the name of the Legend Resort Cherating

Mei Mei was crying for her mummy as usual...
Always wanted mummy to take her

Since nobody wanted to take a photo, I might as well get CJ to take mine.
As usual, kids being kids. Mei Mei wouldn't miss this,
Sliding, sliding down...

The adult pool and the see at the back

The adult pool at the back...

Not easy to take a proper family photo, the children were looking every where but the camera...sigh...

Swing Mei Mei, swing...

Enjoying the garden after check out.

Enjoying the afternoon breeze...so nice ...

Some of the rooms at the Legend. Staying at the ground floor rooms would be nice..
The swimming pool was just in front of them....Hmmm...maybe next time we should specify our preference

The little garden next to the swimming pool...

Darren was so tired after one whole morning of walking by the beach and swimming at the pool.
While we were checking out, he fell asleep on the settee

Ancasa Resort AllSuites, Port Dickson (Part II)

06 - 07 September 2009 ( Saturday & Sunday)

We arrived at Ancasa at 11 am and was able to check in. That was a surprise!!!

Guess, occupancy rate during puasa month was really very low!

Of course, with that gone was the much anticipated pony ride!! :(

My three rascals. Darren seemed not in the mood though. He was a bit distracted.

Ko Ko was in very good mood. He was quite happy with our suite, big and clean. Crossing this bridge was one of the activities that he enjoyed here.

Darren, give Mummy a cheese!!!

To get the kids to take photos were really a task when they were not in the mood!!!

Darren was enjoying climbing this...

Sliding down!!!

Come Ko Ko, give Mummy a good shot.

These two fellows were competiting with each other.

Mei Mei was showing her injured hand from the fall at the playground.
Gotta to get the maid to get Mei Mei back to the hotel for her nap. Mei Mei was showing symptoms of being very tired.

Darren was busy digging a hole for the water to flow in.

Catching Ko Ko to take photos with me!!! Darren was not in the mood of taking photos.

One of the lucky days that Daddy had the mood to take photos for me!!!
Photographing at Teluk Kemang 2.
It was nice to walk around here. However, being in puasa month, a lot of stalls did not open. So it did look like something missing.

Some of the activities at Teluk Kemang 2
Banana boat

Mei Mei with her lopsided mouth. Not very happy

The stalls by the beach were all closed.
The kids were enjoying the children pool. Ko Ko was enjoyed the slide, he said the slide was steeper than the ones at Tiara Beach. He could slide down very fast.

Mei Mei loved the pool too

Ostrich Farm. We didn't enter the Farm, just have a look. After all, I heard people been saying there was nothing much there and not to mention, the kids were not that interested in ostriches. Having to pay rm8 just to watch ostriches, we didn't think it was worth it.

The ostrich farm was really very near to Ancasa
