FRIM

23 August 2009 (Sunday)
It was an unplanned trip. Since this place was so near Batu Caves, we might as well drop by to see what FRIM had to offer. We gotta pay RM3 per adult, kids no charges. We drove in.
It was the first trip for daddy and the kids. But I had camped in FRIM before during my univerty days. It was a one-week motivational camp under PUSPITA if I am not mistaken. We had our motivational talks, treasure hunt here. It was good I remember, although it couldn't be compared to EDMAT a motivational camp organised by the Engineering Faculty which I had attended in my first year of university. EDMAT really grilled us, it was so good!! Well, that was once a upon a time....year 1994
We just arrived at the picnic area, where the waterfall was located. Guess this might be the only area that the kids would enjoy in FRIM. There were nothing much to other areas.

Found an area where we could put our feet into the cold water. Hmm...that's good

The depth of the water was good in order not to wet our clothes.

The handsome daddy with his precious SMILE...he he he

Normally Darren become more cooperative in photo taking when he's enjoyed that place.

Mummy also wanted to pose. Now had to become cleverer. Must catch Daddy to take my photos when the kids were not interested to take photos at all. Otherwise, I got no photos !!!

Not very happy when I asked him to pose for the camera...

Can you see the fish?? There were so many biting the foot!!!

Fish Talk

The boys were looking at the fish caught.
Guess who was the expert fish catcher??? ME!!
Caught quite a number of fish using a plastic bag. Daddy helped to transfer them into the water mineral bottle which we found nearby.
There was a family picnicking at the area above where we were catching fish.
Waiting for the BIG fish to come out despite having clap our hands a few times.
We were told the giant fish will come out upon hearing A clap!!
What a disappointment!!! Expectation not met!!!

Batu Caves, Selangor

23 August 2009 (Sunday)

Thanks to Jeffery that we went to Batu Caves. It was 3 km away from his friend's parents' house.
This was my first time here. The first for the kids too. Daddy had been here once, many years ago during university days.

Hmmm...Good feng shui. There were Koi Fish in the pond.

Ko Ko had a small puffy left eye today..a result from brushing his eyes too vigorously.
Darren was the forever temperamental one...not easy to catch him to pose for the camera.

Batu Caves, we are here!!!

Up and up we went. I was the last one. Felt a bit disoriented with the height.

To take photos, I gotta to overtake the kids.

Ko Ko was climbing steadily up. Such a long flight of steps.

Ko Ko was rushing to go down. Nature Calls.

Daddy kept complaining that it was not easy to climb so high and yet we gotta rush down because Ko Ko could not stand. We could not find any toilet up there.

There was a parade going on.

One of the decorated lorry.

The pricing to enter Cave Villa. We did not enter there. Climbing up the long flight of stairs was more than enough for the day.

Yang Yang's Birthday Celebration

21 August 2009 (Friday)

Today Denise Fan, my former HR colleague invited me to her forthcoming wedding on 19 Sept 2009 (Sat) at Jaya Palace at SS14, PJ. O dear, my maid was back in Indonesia then!!! Guess I had to go alone as no one will be able to take care of my kids then. Hubby gotta stay and be a good father!!!
Denise only arrived at my office at 5.40 pm. So, I couldn't chat with me for long as I need to pick Ko Ko from school at 6.50 pm. His driver was not available that day. It was jam. I didn't expect it. I only managed to arrive at the school at 7.05pm. Anyway, it was okay. Ko Ko was waiting inside the school together with other kids. There's a teacher on duty to watch over the kids, it seemed.
Ko Ko's friend, Yang Yang was having his Birthday celebration at 7 pm tonight. Of course, I will be late as I could only arrived home at 7.15pm. They really waited for us. But then they knew that my Ko Ko always return home late from school...at about 7.25 pm.
Yang Yang's mummy had gotten him a Ben10 chocolate cake from Secret Recipe...Yang Yang's favourite. Hmm...delicious!!! Darren couldn't have enough of it. He had taken 2 pieces!!!

Yang Yang's Ben10 Chocolate Cake. His other name is Tmothy.

Blowing candles. 5 candles...same age with my Darren...
Darren too preoccupied with the choo choo train. Can see him at the background.

Yang Yang's mummy was at the background. I realised only now that she had not even taken a shoot together with her son. Ai ya..should have taken one for her. .

Yang Yang's mummy gave me some of the Ben10 cakes to take home since there's so much leftovers and some jelly.

We left at 9.30 pm. My eyes really cannot open. I went home, lied on my mattress and straight fell asleep. Only woke up at 11.30 pm to bath and sleep again...he he he. I took my bath earlier, but after the party I felt so sticky again, couln't stand it. So it somehow it became an incomplete business which I needed to do before I went for my deep slumber !!!

A Visit from Auntie Julie!!!

16 August 2009 (Sunday)

You see the naughty girl...always cry as if it is at the end of the world.
A fast learner in imitating other people!!!
Boisterous

Look at my auntie...when I am old I will look exactly like her.
She's been saying the same thing "You look at my photos during my younger days, you look like me...". I look like my auntie more than her own daughter.

Help me !!! Help me !!

A wonderful afternoon chat under the trees..
